Education and event days

Wirrimbirra's aim is to foster an awareness of the unique natural and cultural heritage of Australian wildlife and environment and to promote conservation of these values through being a centre of excellence in environmental education and research.

Throughout the year the Sanctuary is host to education and event days, using highly skilled specialists to advise our visitors on how to look after our flora and fauna.

Events such as Reptile Day, Bug and Bird day, the Wildlife fair, and Frog day all go together to form an educational package for the community.  Other days such as Bush Christmas and our country music night are occasions where the whole family can enjoy a few hours of pleasant relaxation and good music.
